Karaneeswarar temple is one of the most popular Temple of Chennai city and is located in Saidapet, Chennai city. 
The Raja gopuram of the temple is very colorful and very beautiful sculptures are seen.
When we first enter into the temple we can able to see first the idols of Ganesh and Murgan.
The Temple is heavily crowded on Pradhosham days.
The festival celebrated in this temples are vaikasi, visakam,aani pooram, aadi pooram,aadi laksharchana
