It is said that if yo take a dip in the holy river you will be healed of various physical and psychological miseries.

It belongs to Kodagu district of Karnataka.

The Temple is dedicated tp Goddess Kaveriamma and Lord Agastheeswara. A dip in the tank is considered as auspicious by Hindus.
