RAMANATAH NATHASWAMY TEMPLE (RAMESHWARAM)

History
The temple and the island of Rameshwaram hve this name because,lord rama worshiped lord shiva ,the god of gods here on return from Lanka.
The Alar family of devakyyai completed the eastern tower of 9 tiers 126 feet in height from Thiruppani funds in the year between 1897 and 1904.
