Brindavan garden is located at a distance of 19km from Mysore city.

The garden are built across river Cauvery and below Krishnaraja Sagar Dam and its a major tourist attraction of Mysore.



History

The Brindavan garden have been built in the KRS dam.The creation of these garden began in the year of 1927.
Brindavan gardens have been designed by seeking inspiration from Shalimar Gardens of Kashmir.

FOUNTAINS VIEW IN BRINDAVAN GARDEN
Brindavan garden divided into various parts the main gate,south brindavan,North brindavan and children's garden.
The main gate is inspired by the Gate of New Delhi.The main structure  of main gate is rise garden,the lawns,flower beds.
In South Brindavan has a glass house that consists of various ornamental plants.Besides south garden there is children's park.

FAMOUS PLACES TO VISIT IN MYSORE




The garden has a botanical park as well as fountains.

Boating also is there  and is  the major tourist attractions.

The illuminated dancing fountains on the northern side of Brindavan garens are main attractions.

BEAUTIFUL GARDEN VIEW 
North Brindavan is most attractive area of the gardens as it is comprises of 4 terrace gardens.
Another popular feature of Brindavan garden is presence of musical fountains.




The Dam was built by Sir M.Vishweshwariah in 1924 whereas the Brindavan Gardens were built by Sir Mirza Ismail.
