1.SRI MANAKULA VINAYAKAR TEMPLE

Manakula vinakar temple famously known for the Elephant blessings.

2.KOKILAMBAL THIRUKAMESHWARAR TEMPLE
Thiru kameshwarar temple is situated in a small town called villianur which is 11 km from pondicherry city.
The Chola temple was constructed in the 12 th century CE.
The history name of temple is Vilwanallur which means good city of vilwa trees(BEL).
The lingam is made of mud and so cannot withstand the direct abhishekam of water.
So the lingam is covered with brass vessels before water is poured.
According to the history ,the king was suffering from leprosy and worshiped Lord Shiva in this temple and got cured.
The nandhi in this temple is called prasava nandhi and woman pay the bull before their pregancy delivery,which is significant of this temple.
The rays of sunlight fall on the presidin deity on the 9th,11th and 19th days of the month of Panguni (March to April).
Brahmotsavam is the main event celebrated for 10 days from full moon day in vaikasi.
Car festival also famous in this temple and during this festival a 15 meter tall chariot is pulled by the devotees.

3. VEERAMPATINAM TEMPLE NEAR BEACH
Sengazhuneer Amman temple which is 1000 yr old temple located in veerampatinam.
On the sea shore of Puducherry ,Sengazhuneer Amman can be found in veerampatinam.
The car festival is famous and lakhs of devotees visits the temple.
People bath in seas,offer archanas to the goddess.
The temple is open from 6.00 AM To 11.00 AM and from 4.00 PM TO 9.00 PM.

4.PANCHAVATEE TEMPLE
Panchamukha Anjaneya Temple is in Panchavatee, a small village on the high way laeading to tindivanam.
Panchavatee is just 9 kms away from Pondicherry.
The 36 feet Gigantic Anjaneya is one of the tallest Hanuman images in India.
The Temple land is donated by Santhanam Iyengar

Vision of the statue
This vision pf Panchamuga Anjaneya with five faces-his own in the centre,surrounded by garuda,Hayagreeva,Narasimha and Varaha.
Hayagreeva is the horse form of lord vishnu

Varadara Perumal Temple is located at pondicherry.

7.MORATANDI PRITHIYANKARA DEVI TEMPLE

Prithiyankara Devi Temple is famous hindhu temple constructed by Nadathur Janardhan Swamigal.
It is situate in Moratandi,Pattanur near Tiruchitrambalam koot road.

The height of the Godess is 72feet.
According to history,Goddess is a lion headed form of divine mother.
