Mahabalipuram is situated just 60 km from chennai on the Bay of Bengal coast in the south Indian state of Tamilnadu.

The groups of monuments located here have also been deemed as a UNESCO world heritage site.

SEA SHORE TEMPLE
Mahabalipuram is one of the oldest cities in India and is known for its various stone carved monuments and ancient temples.
Mahabalipuram was a port town  during the 1 st century to 140 AD and was ruled by Pallava kings.





The sea shore temple comprises 3 ornate granite shrines.

Krishna butter ball is a massive bounder balanced on a small hill near the Ganesha Rathan stone temple.
